If the last century belonged to scientists this century belongs to engineers. Our modern world is dominated by engineers but these designers and innovators are hardly visible in public life and therefore their great lives and stories are mostly unsung.

Hence this page is dedicated to highlight the great achievements of such brilliant engineers. And there is another interesting thing. As modern day designers and innovators we stand to learn a lot from their often difficult lives and excellent work.

This page is there to inspire us to achieve beyond what is seemingly possible. That is the essence of design.
